IT’S ALL IN THE SKIES (Guerra)

Ancient man wondered how the stars got in the skies
Placed animals in constellations that they’d name
Old sailors used those stars to navigate the tides
Brought trade and war, civilizations that they’d claim

It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a place of the truth
It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a grey silver blue

Now man he takes for granted, the heavens as his own
Filled with dead satellites, a junkyard in the sky
Who’s gonna pay the price when it all comes crashing down
When will we realize it’s up to you and I?

It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a place of the truth
It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a grace of the blue

Oh the wind will scream our battle cry, and the rain will make us testify
Wait until tomorrow, will the sun ever arise?

It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a place of the truth
It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a grace of the blue
It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a place of the truth
It’s all in the skies, I tell you honey space is a grey silver blue

LONELY NO MORE (Guerra)

When you’re down on your luck and you’re down to your last $20 bill
Feels like the whole world is stuck, you’ve got sticks in the spokes of your wheels
I will pick you up, I will take you down and rock you to the core,
I will pick you up, and you’ll be lonely no more

When I see you down the farm with some mudcaked creature lyin’ in your arms
I will drive you home cause I know you’re scared to be alone
Together we’ll sing, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Together we’ll sing, yeah, yeah, yeah and you’ll feel good cause

I will be around, you’re back amongst the living, you closed that door
You’re Lonely No More

Hey, whaddya say that we blow this guitar town,
Move out to Arizona where there’s more than gigs to be found
And I say, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Together we’ll sing, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, cause after all, its just me and you so remember

I will be around, you’re back amongst the living, my heart and soul
You’re Lonely No More

LOVER’S TIME (Guerra)

Well you know I’d never do anything to hurt you, but I’m just “That Guy”
With a wild imagination, and a heart full of honest lies
And I know you’ve always been such a believer, of all that is good inside
So with woe, you go, afraid I’ll disappoint you, by takin’ you for a ride

Well tonight I’m gonna be on my best behavior, I’ll drink just one
Cause I got accommodations, we can still have a lot of fun
Yes tonight, you’re gonna forget your tribulations, leave all that pain behind
So together we’ll be full of understanding, no longer hearts unkind
And it’s always safe to wait…Yes it’s always safe to wait…

It’s not too late, my door is open, your wall I’m breakin’ through
Tonight’s the night, to make lover’s time for you.

Said I know you’ve always been such a big believer, of all that is good in life
But you also think I’m gonna disappoint you, or take you for a ride

So it’s not too late, my door’s always open, your wall I’m breakin’ through
Tonight’s the night, to make lover’s time for you.

Yeah – Nothing’s gonna come between us, anymore
Yeah – Nothing’s gonna come between us.

It’s not too late, my door’s always open, your wall I’m breakin’ through
Tonight’s the night, to make lover’s time for you,
Tonight’s the night, to make lover’s time for you,
Tonight’s the night, to make lover’s time for you.

SUDDEN SIGNS OF GRACE (Guerra)

Awww, when the city streets are your bedroom sheets,
And you agonize what your weary eyes tend to emphasize
And when you’re stuck outside and your city wide
Wish an open door or an inside floor is all you’re looking for those

Sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace.
Sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace, everybody goin’ lookin’ for the light
Sudden signs of grace

Yeah, when you never learn, from all the people burned
All the sins you’ve done and the wrongs you run can’t be overcome
And then it’s New Year’s Day, and you got words to say,
But you’re all alone and there’s no one home case you had to roam.

Sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace.
Sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace, everybody goin’ lookin’ for the light
Sudden signs of grace, take yourself to

Feel the choir lift you higher

Sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace.
Sudden signs of grace, sudden signs of grace, everybody goin’ lookin’ for the light
Sudden signs of grace

GIMME SOME WATER (Eddie Money)

Mama never understood what it’s like for a losing man
When her number one son goes bad playing cards with the Devil’s Hand
Daddy got real sick so quick – four walls never understand
I was the one who got good with the gun – took the money from the rich man’s land

Gimme some water ’cause I shot a man on the Mexican border
Cool, cool water, gimme some water, I need a little water

Jimmy grew up so fast and he met me at the pass one day
Said, “You’re a wanted man. Take your brother’s hand – I’ll be running with you, anyway.”
So we rode late in the night like fires on the desert sand
‘Til one day the posse caught up ’cause the sheriff always gets his man

Gimme some water ’cause I killed a man on the Mexican border
Cool, cool water, gimme some water, I need a little water

Oh, geeze, if I could just get loose my hands, I’d run just as fast as my legs can
But, Lord, I’ve got no room to run, shouldn’t have done what I did without that gun

Gimme some water ’cause I shot a man on the Mexican border
Cool, cool water, gimme some water, I need a little water
Can’t you see that long, white rope hanging from the hangman’s tree
Take the restless horse, tie my hands, of course, tell my mother that I’m finally free
Let me die like a man no one understands, let me pray like a poor man pray
Smack that horse in the ass, with my last dying gasp my brother could hear me say
Gimme some water, ’cause I killed a man on the Mexican border
Cool, cool water, oh gimme some water.

THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH (Guerra)

Irregular Head he jumped on his bed and he laid himself down
Seasick and fried from the Octopus ride on the outskirts of town
Irregular said she messed up his head when about her he found
She’s out havin’ fun with the one who’s the son of an orange haired clown

Step right up here darling to my window, welcome to the greatest show on Earth
Step right up here darling to my window, welcome to the greatest show on Earth

Bungalow Bill he sure had his fill of the ladies in red
Was feathered and tarred he was left in the yard over something he said
Bungalow Bill’s now drunk to the gills and he needs to be led
Home disregard how he makes it so hard to be placed in his bed.

Step right up here darling to my window, welcome to the greatest show on Earth
Step right up here darling to my window, welcome to the greatest show on Earth

Elephant Syd he came from Madrid in his carnival pants
The travelin’ show taught all he had to know make the elephants dance
Elephant Syd the kid flipped his lid and he went in a trance
He busted a move and they all start to groove like the Gigolo Aunts

Step right up here darling to my window, welcome to the greatest show on Earth
Step right up here darling to my window, welcome to the greatest show on Earth

JUST LIKE THE SUN (Guerra)

Just like the Sun, our love is setting in the west, gone today forever, till tomorrow dawn
Just like the Sun, I’m hiding in the clouds for rest, mind and body tired, on the verge of gone
So shine your vital rays, warm our loving planet,
Shine your vital rays, light our darkest days

Hey acid reign, to me you brings no happiness, falling down like poison tears into a sea of pain
I call your name, the echo answers back “You jest,” for a thousand years, I have been insane.
So shine your vital rays, warm our loving planet,
Shine your vital rays, light our darkest days

Just like the sun, I have been around forever, burning up my energy, now my day has come
I am the one, who determines all the weather, gone today forever, till tomorrow dawn.
Shine your vital rays, warm our loving planet,
Shine your vital rays, light our darkest days
Oh yeah yeah, gonna let it shine, gotta let it shine, shinin’ on and on and on…

INSPIRATION MEMORIES (Guerra)

Watercolors may run dry, blush like wine and never shine
Masterworks of oil divine, storylines and turpentine

Paint the rhythms of your dreams
Blue sky visions, faded jeans
Yellow moonlight, rivers green
Inspiration Memories

Charcoals tend to blur and say, shades of greys and rainy days
Pastels you prefer to splay, they convey your color tray

So paint the rhythms of your dreams
Blue sky visions, faded jeans
Yellow moonlight, rivers green
Inspiration Memories

Life goes by in a blink of an eye
Yes it’s Hello Goodbye such as love.

Composition minds supply, color dyes to trick the eye
Joyous tears in kind decry, visualize your feelings rise

Paint the rhythms of your dreams
Blue sky visions, faded jeans
Yellow moonlight, rivers green
Inspiration Memories

DOWN THE FARM (Guerra)

Way down upon the farm givin’ pigs the pill
A supplemental treat in their daily swill
We grow ‘em nice and fat till their curly tails
Are gonna bust the bars on the slaughterhouse scales but
Oh baby, I’d take that pill for you
I said oh baby, I’d take that pill for you.

We’re crankin’ out the milk till the cows come home
Feed ‘em special hay for their chromosomes
Way down upon the farm we sell twice as much
Our automatic milkers have the magic touch but
Oh, look at those mother milkers go.
I said oh, look at those mother milkers go.

Way down up the farm we got company
A man from the USDA Agency
Those tariffs kickin’ in givin’ farmers fits
But now we’re all as happy as a pig in shit because
Oh, give me that government subsidy, I said
Oh, give me that American subsidy.

So the pickers comin’ all the way from Mexico
They bring ‘em in on busses pay ‘em little dough
Their sweatin’ in the sun, seven do the work of ten but
The immigration guy is here he’s gonna harvest men
But oh, now their singin’ dem ole immigration blues
But oh, now their singin’ dem ole immigration blues
I said oh, now their singin’ dem ole deportation blues

STREETS OF BALTIMORE (Tompall Glaser and Harlan Howard)

Well I sold the farm to take my woman where she used to be
We left our kin and all our friends back there in Tennessee
And I bought those one-way tickets she had often begged me for
And they took us to the streets of Baltimore

Well her heart was filled with gladness when she saw those city lights
She said the prettiest place on earth was Baltimore at night
Well a man feels proud to give his woman what she’s longing for
And I kinda liked the streets of Baltimore

Then I got myself a factory job, I ran an old machine
And I bought a little cottage in a neighborhood serene
And every night when I’d come home with every muscle sore
She’d drag me through the streets of Baltimore

Well I did my best to bring her back to what she used to be
Then I soon learned she loved those bright lights more than she loved me
Now I’m a going back on that same train that brought me here before
While my baby walks the streets of Baltimore
While my baby walks the streets of Baltimore
