Mambo Sons is an original rock & roll band fronted by singer Scott Lawson and guitarist Tom Guerra. The band’s 1999 debut featured Rick Derringer, and in the next 10 years they went on to release four critically acclaimed albums on Omnicide Records, culminating in their 2009 double album “Heavy Days.” Following the death of Omnicide owner Marko Van Der Werff, the group members scattered to pursue solo interests, but still perform occasional shows around New England. Current lineup includes Tom Guerra (guitar and vocals), Scott Lawson Pomeroy (lead vocals and bass), Joe Lemieux (drums), and Russ Waesche (guitar and vocals).
